    Hi Team, Informing you that Tiare now has network monitoring alerts via email and SMS, as of FRI 02FEB18. One advantage of this new set-up is that staff get alerts without having to visually check graphs or system elements on a screen, every hour. I’d like to present a brief demo to those of you at HQ this week. Is 11:30am to 12pm, TUE 06FEB18 suitable? Kindly let me know. There is a lot of room for improvement regarding the new system, as it is deemed a minimum viable system at this point, so feel free to let me know during the demo, what feature or aspect of a monitored device, you would like included or monitored. A current to-do-list for the system, in progress: 1. Integrate Nagios with a TT system (OTRS 5s), 2. Escalation process flow – system to be built on an established flow – use Tiare’s restoration flow chart, 3. Create alerts for: a. High-utilization on links (80% WARNING, 90% CRITICAL). b. Low utilization on links (20% WARNING, 10% CRITICAL). c. EIGRP Neighbour flaps. d. BGP i. Flaps ii. Active or Idle sessions iii. Etc … e. Any more??? Regards, Shannon
